What does zero drop mean?

Heel and forefoot sit at the same height. That true flat profile lowers your centre of gravity, which helps your balance on uneven trails.

Are they good for hiking?

Yes. Gully is built for outdoor trails: the aggressive lugs grip mud and steep ascents, and the reinforced toe cap protects against rock strikes. For long, rocky hikes with a heavy pack, build up gradually.

Can they get wet?

Yes. Creek crossings, rock pools and wet tracks are fine: the breathable upper sheds water quickly. Rinse with fresh water after salt or mud and air-dry out of direct sun. No washing machine, no dryer.

I've never worn barefoot shoes. Anything I should know?

Ease in. Start with shorter walks and build up over a few weeks. Your feet and calves do more work than in cushioned shoes, so some tiredness early on is normal.

Is the insole removable?

Yes. Take it out to dry the shoe faster, or for even more feel of the ground.
