"Everything within reach. Nothing holding you back."

12 litres that moves like part of you.

One vest. A full day's kit. Nothing bouncing.

Somewhere past the first climb your old pack starts bouncing, the straps rub, and you're stopping just to drink. A rucksack was never made to run.

The Traverse fixes that. An elastic cross-cinch pulls all 12 litres flat to your chest, so it moves as one piece with you instead of swinging behind you.

Two 500ml soft flasks sit high on the chest — grab, squeeze, keep moving — and a dedicated back sleeve takes a 2L hydration bladder with the tube routed over your shoulder, so you can drink on the move without lifting a finger.

A zippered pocket holds your phone, gels and keys, and a 5L back pocket swallows a jacket and a full day's kit. An adjustable compression cord cinches the load down so nothing shifts, a rear holder stows your trekking poles, and the whole thing weighs just 300g.

Everything in reach. Nothing bouncing. Just run.

  • Wore it for my first 50k. No bounce, no rubbing, and I could grab a flask without stopping.

    Jason, Newcastle NSW

  • Wasn't sure a cheaper one would sit right, but it does — stays put the whole run, and the two bottles came in the box.

    Dave, Gold Coast QLD

  • Long hikes and gravel rides, same vest. The bladder fits, the poles clip on, and 12L covers a full day.

    Renae, Ballarat VIC

The Traverse difference

Built for every trail.

10 front, 2 back.

12 pockets, everything reachable.

Ten pockets across the front — two flask pockets, phone and gel pockets, zip stashes — plus two 2L+ pockets on the back. Everything sits where your hands already are, so you reach a gel without breaking stride.

Moves as one piece.

Bounce-free cinch.

An elastic cross-cord pulls the front flat to your chest and a rear compression cord cinches the load behind you. Full or empty, on the flats or the climbs, it stays put — no swing, no rub, no managing it every kilometre.

Two 500ml chest pockets.

Flasks right where your hands are.

Two angled chest pockets each hold a 500ml soft flask, sitting high where your hands naturally fall. Pull one out, squeeze, and drop it back without breaking stride or reaching across your body — no stopping, no fumbling behind you.

2L bladder + 5L storage.

A back that carries the day.

The back does the carrying. A dedicated sleeve holds a 2L hydration bladder with the tube routed over your shoulder, while a separate 5L pocket swallows a jacket, food and a shell. An adjustable compression cord cinches the load down so nothing shifts, and a rear holder stows your trekking poles.

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly does this do?

It's a 12L trail-running vest that carries your water, phone, gels and a full day's kit close to your body. Two 500ml flasks sit on your chest and an elastic cinch pulls the load flat so nothing bounces. You run hands-free, with everything in reach.

Will it bounce when it's full?

No. An elastic cross-cinch pulls the front flat to your chest and an adjustable cord compresses the load in the back, so all 12L moves as one piece with you whether it's full or nearly empty.

I've bought a cheap vest before that bounced — why is this different?

Because the fit does the work. The cross-cinch pulls the vest tight to your contours instead of letting it swing, and the flasks sit high on the chest, not low on your waist. It's the bounce most budget packs never solve.

Does a unisex vest fit a women's frame?

Yes. Sizes S–XXL cover a 78–120cm chest, and the cinch dials the fit in on either side. Check the size chart against your chest measurement.

How much does it carry?

12 litres across 12 pockets. Up front: two 500ml soft flasks plus gel and phone pockets. On the back: a dedicated 2L hydration-bladder sleeve with tube routing, and a separate 5L pocket for a jacket and supplies. Plus a trekking-pole holder.

What flasks fit the front pockets?

The two front chest pockets each take a standard 500ml soft flask. Run one or both, or leave them out and use the pockets for gels, a phone or a light layer.

Can I use a hydration bladder?

Yes. The back has a dedicated sleeve for a 2L hydration bladder, with a port to route the drinking tube over your shoulder. Run off the tube, the two front flasks, or both — up to 3 litres of water in total.

How do I choose my size, and what if it doesn't fit?

Measure your chest circumference and match it to the chart; between two sizes, go up and let the cinch take in the slack. If it's not right, return within 30 days for a full refund.

How long does shipping take?

We offer free shipping within AU. Standard delivery takes 5–12 business days. You'll receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.
